I’ve been updating my profile on Linked In and noticed there are a few other places I need to update, so here’s a few that need likes/endorsements/connections etc!
Well, he wishes! Sesame Studios are looking for new ideas, so what could be newer than a talking Tiger (that isn’t Tony or Tigger bouncing everywhere?) So after a few days of mulling it over, I put a pitch together, watched a couple of their Youtube videos and reminisced about Bert and Ernie, The Count and the Cookie Monster, who are all still going, along with Big Bird and a few new characters.
The obvious thing to pitch was THE TIGLET SHOW! My attempt five years ago to do something Muppet-like. As Experimental No-Budget Filmmaking goes, this did stretch the budget!
Oh my Geeky Goddess! Where did I come up with this? WHY? Yes, I have actually gone back to watch it and it was experimental, (maybe emphasis on mental?) making it by myself had its challenges, you can tell I was running out of ideas by the third episode, not sure stitching together previously made videos worked either. Two things I was pleased about were Professor Von Ool and then the GrumpyCats, with their sarcy Waldorf and Statler-like comments at the end.
So, it’s all done and pitched. I attached my Creativity and Imagination playlist from Youtube and it’s just a matter of seeing what happens, if anything.
I know I blogged sometime last summer about how Darci Farmer blew me away with her ventriloquism on America’s got talent last year, but maybe I do need to light a fire underneath the Puppetry again. Maybe try and make an original puppet and see who else I can rope into it. Come up with a new project. Things like Avenue Q and the Happytime Murders are a bit too-adult-like, it’s things like The Muppets, The Storyteller, Fraggle Rock, even Labyrinth and Dark Crystal I’m more interested in.
Anyhoo, I’ve started planning the sequel to Tiglet’s Time Travels, titled Tiglet’s Time Wars, funnily enough- cos, like, it’s a sequel and there’s temporal shenanigans going on all over the multiverses. I did think of putting in ideas from my aborted Star Trek Fan Film- Preservation, plus stuff I thought up for Infinite Whoniverses and a kids Time Travel show- there’s an idea- kids and puppets, like a junior Farscape, that’s the way to do it! (As Punch would say!)
Anyway, a week’s gone by since I made my pitch, so no news is good news, right? Probably not, but I live in a perpetual state of Hope, even if it is the false kind.
I’ve wanted to make some original stories/Films for a while now. It seems whenever I focus on Dr. Rrr/Infinite Whoniverses other things don’t get done- like the Photo/hiking updates
STORIES- They’re everywhere. But sometimes you have to go out and find them.
The good ones, the Best ones are the hardest to find. You have to go further and farther out to catch them.
This year, Infinite Tigletverses is boldly going places never been before, doing something completely different and being more ambitious than ever. Seeking Stories-
And no matter where it takes us,
We’re gonna find ‘em!!
