A trek into the deepest, darkest depths of Liverpool. I’ve strolled along the prom many times, but last February was the first time I was armed with a camera, so I was determined to make the most of it. A bridge that was stuck and a Rainbow smile and a second Sun in the sky made it very different (Sundogs it’s called) Always a good walk, with great views over the Wirral and Wales, including Eastham Ferry.
THREE- A Ferry Across the Mersey to Spaceport
A long, long time since going on a Ferry cruise, I took my Nephew James and Tiglet over to the Star Wars themed weekend and had such a great time, posing for photos and looking at exhibits. The funniest thing was being greeted by a Scouttrooper and told to get down and put our hands up, brilliant!
TWO-The Wirral Way- Neston to West Kirby Marine Lake
My absolute Favourite of the Wirral Walks, as well as a perfect day. Again, not blogged about, as I have not finished a complete circuit.
And that was a glorious afternoon, eight Miles from Neston to West Kirby Marine Lake. Parkgate was lovely, as was Thurstaston and Caldy, but catching the sunset at West Kirby was glorious and one of the best Sunsets of the year, plus Hilbre Island has become something of a Quest, trying to time the best day to go. I haven’t succeeded yet, but I shall persevere.
